The darkness of the night: Sleeping

The darkness of the night: Sleeping

Sibley and the Night Noises was written while I stayed in a strange house in Denver, alone, while there for medical care (and feeling crappy). The house creaked, the outside traffic intruded, gurgling pipes, and a dog to curl up with, impacted my nights. My inner child was curled up on a bed with covers. Sibley and the Night Noises is a humorous look at a child finding their way to a peaceful night's sleep. Perfect as a gift for any household with children, it is also a reminder of the child in us, and how new environments may increase our own anxiety. At home, I do many of the strategies for a good night's sleep--comfy comforters, a dog to snuggle with, soft lighting from the hallway, and reminding myself that noises in a house "as it goes to sleep" are normal. The third Sibley book is on the creation line up of my mind. Sibley and the Bad Dreams is already out. The Sibley series: all about the issues with sleep.
